Darling Cellars Pyjama Bush 2016
The Pyjama Bush Rosé lends is name from the Pyjama Bush, a lovely pink wild flower that can be found in the fields of the Darling area. After the winter rains, the parched Cape sparkles. Carpets of daisies fill the landscape with colour. The Pyjama Bush is a pink wild flower (called agdae-geneesbos in Afrikaans) and is used for medicinal purposes.

Darling Cellars Blanc de Blanc MCC 2015 have recently been awarded as the second best wine in the Category for MCC’s and the Lime Kilns 2015 (a blend of Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay and Viognier) in the category for white blends at a Top12 Wines tasting.
Winemag.co.za presents the Cape White Blend Report 2016
Winemag.co.za is pleased to present the inaugural Cape White Blend Report – in order to be eligible, wines had to contain a Chenin Blanc component of more than 15% and less than 85%. The idea is to recognize the growing category of wines which sees different white grapes combined in a formal way to produce something outstanding.

Darling Cellars crowns a triumphant year with its medal haul at Veritas
Darling Cellars was showered with medals at the annual Veritas Awards for South African wines and spirits, announced recently at a glittering function hosted at the Cape Town International Convention Centre. Included in the medal haul was a Double Gold medal for its Darling Cellars Premium Sauvignon Blanc 2015.
Darling Cellars makes history at the SA National Young Wine Show
Only days after a triumphant victory at the Swartland Young Wine Show, Darling Cellars went on to even greater glory when one of its wines was named South African White Blend Champion for 2015 at the national event. It’s the first time the double achievement has befallen Darling Cellars.

Darling Cellars triumphed at the Swartland Young Wine Show this year when one of its wines took top honours across 10 categories and was named Grand Champion. The white wine blend also won the trophy as Champion Dry White before going on to winning the main title.
Anna Foundation Winemakers MTB Challenge
Eighteen winemakers and winemaking assistants representing 13 Estates throughout the Western Cape, took part in the Anna Foundation Winemaker’s MTB Challenge on 21 April. This 20km cycling event was run in conjunction with the Delta Trap at Solms-Delta and all winemakers were welcome to enter irrespective of riding ability.

Bruce Jack, winemaker of Flagstone is celebrating. He received the Winemaker-of-the-Year Award at the annual Wine-of-the-Month Club Winemaker Awards Lunch held this year at Spier.
Darling Cellars strikes gold abroad and at home
Darling Cellars, the West Coast winery gaining recognition for its cool climate wines, has won a Gold Medal at this years Mundus Vini International Wine Awards for their Bordeaux-style blend, Sir Charles Henry Darling 2007, a Limited Release; and at the recent Michelangelo International Wine Awards for their Reserve Six-Tonner Merlot 2010.
