Grown on a bed-rock of granite, the roots of these Shiraz vines sometimes penetrate as far down as 10 metres below the soil's surface. Starved of water and highly vigorous as a result, this Shiraz, aged in French oak, has gained extra complexity adding to its spicy appeal.
Suggested cuisine accompaniments: Pork fillets in truffle sauce, smoked lamb fillets, roasted red peppers & goats cheese tartlets.

Deep colour and intense aromas of plum, chocolate and spices like cinnamon and vanilla. The wood is very well integrated with the fruit flavours. This is a full bodied wine with a good balance of alcohol, acidity, tannin and fruit.

The wood is very well integrated with the fruit flavours. This is a matured wine with a good balance of alcohol, acidity, tannin and fruit.

This wine will drink wonderfully now but will age gracefully for another decade.

This unique blend of Shiraz, Pinotage, Barbera, Grenache and Mourveder is made to create a complex wine that compliments food very well. As a young wine the vanilla and spice aromas are dominant but with bottle maturation it develops into an aromatic and soft wine.
